On March 31st, a team of Kindergarten teachers traveled “out back” to explore a new area for our kindergarten students to use for a habitat study. We will be working with Grassroots Wildlife Conservation to learn about the animals and plants that live in this area.   Students will observe and communicate that animals and plants need food, water, and air to survive. They will also learn that animals get their food from either plants or animals in that particular habitat. In addition, they will observe the plants and learn that plants make their own food and need light to live and grow.
